Forbes Solicitors LLP is seeking a Paralegal to join the Housing & Regeneration (Litigation) team at Gordon House Office. The role is full time (36.25 hours per week), with hybrid working potential, and involves supporting Advisors with chargeable work, drafting documents, research, and client communication.

Essentially, candidates should have A-Levels (preferably including Law), strong attention to detail, and excellent IT and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven attention to detail in drafting and editing legal documents.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines across multiple matters.
• Proficient IT skills across Word, Excel, Outlook and case management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client and colleague liaison.
• Aligned with the firm’s values and professional standards.

Responsabilités

• Provide effective support to Advisors through chargeable legal work and file preparation.
• Ensure timely progress of matters, monitor deadlines, and keep clients informed.
• Draft and prepare legal documents requiring analysis and input.
• Conduct legal research to support matter strategy.
• Provide legal advice under supervision to resolve queries.
• Assess client queries and guide progression of files.
• Attend external meetings and hearings where applicable.
• Prepare for court proceedings and ensure documentation is in place.
• Maintain accurate records in the case management system.
