Job summary

Södra Wood in Cirencester is hiring an Operations Assistant to support inbound operations, procurement and data analysis, with exposure to ERP and QMS systems across GB and Ireland.

The role involves raising purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, reporting critical data and helping implement digital process improvements while gaining a broad view of how an international operation works. Hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days at home) is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems and purchase-order processes.
• Strong analytical skills and data handling capability.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail; proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Support inbound operations, procurement and data reporting.
• Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure stock availability.
• Analyse operational data and support digital process improvements.
• Develop knowledge of ERP and QMS systems and how they connect with operations.
