Job summary

OH Medical is recruiting an Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading provider in Derby. In a hybrid role, you will deliver a full OH service, manage casework, health surveillance, and fitness-for-work assessments for a manufacturing client.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality reports, confidential records, and promotion of safe, healthy workplaces. The role offers ongoing professional development and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• NMC Registration required with Part 1 essential and in-depth knowledge of OH practice.
• Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (degree or diploma).
• Strong experience delivering OH case management and health surveillance.
• Competency in Spirometry and Audiometry with clear reporting abilities.
• Excellent report writing, communication, and time management skills.
• Solid understanding of data protection and OH legislation; proficient IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a full Occupational Health service including case management.
• Assess fitness for work and provide high-quality OH reports.
• Conduct health surveillance and medically-based assessments.
• Carry out fitness-for-work medicals and role-specific assessments.
• Provide OH advice to managers and employees; escalate complex cases.
• Maintain accurate records in line with NMC standards and guidelines.
