Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil or defence nuclear safety experience.
• Degree, Master's or PhD in a relevant STEM subject.
• Good organisational skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to different projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to tackle nuclear safety challenges.
• Perform safety tasks such as HAZID, fault schedule development, design basis analysis, probabilistic analysis, safety functional requirements, HAZOP.
• Conduct periodic review of safety of nuclear facilities.
• Qualification and substantiation of systems against safety requirements.
• Internal and external hazards assessments.
• Safety case development and support for nuclear and non-nuclear plant.
• Authoring clear safety-related technical documents and summarising information to justify safety.
