Job summary

GSF Car Parts Limited is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer/Developer to join our Wolverhampton team on a hybrid basis. You will work on Next.js/React web applications, leveraging JavaScript, TypeScript and C# to deliver features end-to-end.

The role requires solid commercial experience and the ability to own functionality from design through deployment while collaborating in a fast-paced environment. You will design integrations, optimise MySQL queries, and participate in code reviews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' commercial software development experience.
• Strong experience with Next.js/React web development.
• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript and C#.
• Experience designing and working with MySQL databases, including performant queries.
• Confidence with Git in a team workflow.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js/React, focusing on performance and scalability.
• Design and build integrations between applications, APIs and databases, particularly using MySQL.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code in JavaScript, TypeScript and C#.
• Take ownership of features from design through deployment and support.
• Participate in code reviews and provide/receive constructive feedback.
• Support and mentor junior teammates and collaborate with the Lead Software Engineer to hit project goals.
