Job summary

DWP is recruiting a Network Operations Engineer to design, implement and operate enterprise-scale network infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments. The role focuses on resilience, security and high availability within a hybrid working model.

You will collaborate with engineering, security and architecture teams while supporting AWS, Azure and OCI, and you may work with Terraform, Ansible and Python to automate network tasks and improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise-scale network infrastructure (on-prem and cloud).
• Experience applying security controls and VPNs in live environments.
• Proven incident, problem and change management in ITSM contexts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate network infrastructure across hybrid environments.
• Support AWS, Azure, OCI, firewalls and core networking gear.
• Investigate incidents and drive performance improvements across a large estate.
• Collaborate with engineering, security and architecture teams to enable automation.
