Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a Network Engineer / Network Administrator to support the UK estate, ensuring optimum uptime and performance of Cisco and Arista networks. The role offers progression within an established global business and a hybrid working pattern ( Surrey office with two home-working days per week).

You will join a multivendor network team with exposure to enterprise networks, firewall management (Palo Alto), and opportunities to move toward senior or lead roles as the team

Qualifications

• 3-5 years+ experience in a similar role, Network Engineer, Network Admin, etc
• Proven experience of Cisco or Arista environments
• Commercial experience of managing Network Firewalls using Palo Alto
• Enterprise level Network experience is desirable, either internally or for external customers
• Relevant certifications in Arista, Cisco, Palo Alto, or similar are desirable

Responsibilities

• Support the UK estate networks, ensuring high uptime and optimal performance for Cisco/Arista environments.
• Collaborate within a multivendor Network team and assist in project delivery.
• Assist with firewall management and security policy enforcement (Palo Alto).
• Travel to offices 2-3 days per week as required.
