Job summary

Stark Works | Technical Solutions is seeking a Multi-Utility Tendering Engineer to produce accurate, competitive estimates for multi-utility projects across electricity, gas and water. You will work with Sales, Design Engineering, customers and operators to tailor robust quotations and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams.

The role requires a technical engineering background, at least 3 years’ experience, and strong commercial acumen to price complex tenders and manage risks to meet customer

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in any discipline.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a technical engineering environment.
• Experience or knowledge of multi-utility network design, ideally with electricity or water.
• Good understanding of CDM Regulations 2015 and their application.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to estimate costs.
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage high workloads.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good IT skills: Excel, Word, Outlook; WinDebut experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive multi-utility cost estimates for electricity, gas, water and related infrastructure.
• Review customer requirements, technical specs, drawings and site info to develop quotations.
• Collaborate with Sales, BD and Design Engineering to ensure tenders are sound.
• Liaise with customers, network operators, contractors and internal teams to gather data.
• Document project risks, opportunities, assumptions and exclusions in estimates.
• Ensure quotations are produced accurately and on time.
• Keep knowledge of industry standards, regulations and pricing updated.
