Stellar Select Ltd seeks an experienced Broker Support in Manchester for a highly telephone-based role. You will support the Sales Team, review lending scenarios, and guide on policy, criteria, and systems. This fast-paced position requires strong communication and relationship-building with brokers and partners.

The role emphasizes timely, commercially focused decisions and collaborating across internal teams to improve lending criteria and processes.

Qualifications

• Proven negotiation and influencing abilities in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of broker and internal queries on lending criteria and policy.
• Review mortgage applications and supporting documents against criteria.
• Assess complex cases and rework applications within risk appetite.
• Refer applications outside standard criteria with a clear, commercial rationale.
• Build strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders to ensure a top-notch customer experience.
• Manage a case pipeline, meeting SLA and quality targets.
• Identify recurring queries to drive process improvements.
• Keep accurate case notes compliant with regulatory requirements.
