Job summary

Tomorrow Recruitment Ltd | B Corp™ is seeking a Midweight Technical Designer in London for a hybrid, permanent role. You will bridge design concepts and practical delivery, producing robust, buildable technical drawings and 3D models, coordinating with architects, consultants, fabricators and suppliers across projects from development to installation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience across technical design, architecture, fabrication or a related field.
• Strong background in 3D design.
• Experience producing detailed technical drawing packages and interpreting architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of materials, fabrication methods and how creative ideas translate into physical spaces.
• Experience coordinating with architects, consultants, suppliers and fabricators.
• Experience across commercial interiors, environmental graphics, architecture, exhibitions or experiential design would be particularly relevant.
• Knowledge of Revit or BIM would be a bonus, as would experience with document control and revision management.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with creative, production and project teams from design development to fabrication and installation.
• Translate concepts into robust, buildable solutions with detailed technical drawings and 3D models.
• Create production-ready drawing packages using Rhino and CAD, including plans, elevations, sections and details, coordinating with architects, consultants, fabricators and suppliers.
• Involve in site surveys, materials, sampling, fabrication and installation to cover the full project journey.
• Help identify technical challenges early and ensure drawings and production information are accurate and coordinated before fabrication.
