Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Medical Staffing Administrator to coordinate medical staffing rotas and support NHS workforce needs. The role is hybrid, offering home-based flexibility with a requirement to attend the Trust's offices in Redruth for at least two days per week.

You will work closely with doctors, operational leads and clinical teams to manage leave, cover and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs grades A*-C including English Language and Maths or equivalent qualifications/experience.
• NVQ Level 4 in administration or equivalent experience
• Appropriate entry qualification in using PC systems or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the NHS environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage medical staffing rotas with accurate workforce information.
• Coordinate leave, study leave, on‑call arrangements and locum cover.
• Maintain workforce records, produce reports and respond to staffing queries.
• Support workforce planning and recruitment while delivering a professional, responsive service.
