Job summary

Graphene Recruitment Group is working with a leading M&E contractor in London to recruit a Mechanical Estimator. The role offers hybrid working with up to two days from home and a market salary of £75,000 to £100,000 DOE.

You will prepare detailed estimates for commercial and data centre projects, analyse drawings and specs, perform take-offs using Trimble software, and coordinate with suppliers and pre-construction colleagues to ensure competitive, compliant bids for high-profile London schemes.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the building services sector.
• Strong expertise in commercial pipework systems and installations.
• Proficiency with Trimble estimating software.
• A detail-driven mindset with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple tenders.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for commercial and data centre projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to produce accurate costings.
• Carry out take-offs and measurements using Trimble software.
• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Work closely with pre-construction and project delivery teams to ensure compliant and commercially viable bids.
