Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Designer for a 12-month contract based in Chester. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in mechanical design, especially with VRF systems, and will need to be proficient in Revit and other Autodesk software. This opportunity involves working on a significant greenfield project in the industrial manufacturing sector and requires at least two days on-site weekly, with some flexibility for home-working.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years experience as a Mechanical Designer or similar.
• Experience with VRF systems – heat pumps, heat recovery systems.
• Experience in design for industrial and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Involved in designing VRF systems for a large greenfield project.
• Work on-site near Chester at least 2 days a week with some home-working.
