Job summary

MBDA UK Limited in Stevenage is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead multi-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and deliver prototyping and development activities across defence programmes.

You will shape operations toward manufacturing excellence, manage ramp-ups, industrialisation of new systems, and develop leadership across the operation. This role requires British citizenship or dual UK national and BPSS checks."

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading operations in complex, regulated manufacturing environments (aerospace/defence preferred).
• Demonstrated track record delivering safety, quality, cost and schedule objectives.
• Experience ramping up production and industrialising new products.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-functional teams to deliver prototyping/development activities across defence programmes.
• Drive continuous improvement to embed best practices and manufacturing excellence.
• Influence senior leadership decisions and performance outcomes.
• Develop leadership capabilities and manage manufacturing operations across platforms.
