Dover Fueling Solutions in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, UK, is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will deliver timely, accurate financial information to support informed decision making across the business, including monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis.

The successful candidate will be AAT qualified or studying towards CIMA/ACCA/QBE, with strong Excel skills and experience in management accounts,

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounts preparation.
• Experience in financial forecasting.
• Experience providing sound financial guidance to aid decision making.
• Strong Excel skills and stakeholder engagement.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly management accounts preparation, including profit and loss, balance sheet, variance analysis and month end close reporting.
• Act as a trusted advisor to operational teams, providing financial insight and challenge to support decision making.
• Balance sheet review and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.
• Support the forecasting, budgeting and working capital optimisation process.
• Support audit, year end and compliance activities including MSS/SAO/STBV/PSA.
• Complete expenses review and posting.
• Support cash management and reporting.
• Support VAT and tax reporting.
• Manage general ledger activities, journal postings, intercompany monitoring and fixed asset reporting.
• AR/AP analysis and reporting.
• Create or improve operational efficiencies by process improvement and automation.
