Job summary

Rexel UK Ltd is seeking a Management Accountant to deliver accurate financial results and incisive analysis across UK operations. You will own month-end close, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations, partnering with Finance Business Partners and regional teams.

This full-time role is hybrid (2–3 days in Eagle Court, Sheldon) with a focus on cost control, margin analysis, and development of direct reports.

Qualifications

• Qualified as CIMA or ACCA with membership or working toward membership.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent Excel proficiency and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Month-end reporting for operating expenditure and margin with accruals/prepayments.
• Report regional branch financial results and allocate costs across cost centres.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations with supporting documentation.
• Manage performance, development, and succession planning of direct reports.
