Job summary

Rothamsted Research is seeking a Management Accountant to provide high-quality financial and management accounting support for RRES and RoSS. You will work with the Finance Manager to prepare management accounts, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations, contributing to robust controls and reporting in a transforming finance function.

This role is hybrid, with three days in the Harpenden office, and offers a permanent full-time position within the Finance Department.

Qualifications

• Experience of month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Able to build effective working relationships and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts for Rothamsted Research and RoSS.
• Support month-end processes, accruals and prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, reporting and audit processes.
