Job summary

Cygnet in Kings Hill is seeking a detail-oriented Management Accountant to join the Finance Team and support month-end and site reporting processes. The role is full-time with hybrid working, requiring 2 days in the Kings Hill office each week.

You will lead a small team, prepare dashboard packs, perform variance analysis against budgets, and maintain financial records in line with accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum AAT qualification required.
• Strong understanding of key accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Line management for 3 Assistant Management Accountants.
• Prepare dashboard packs and conduct variance analysis with commentary for management.
• Prepare site monthly management accounts.
• Maintain and reconcile financial records in line with standards and policies.
• Prepare quarterly internal audit packs.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and projects.
• Collaborate with payroll and other departments to understand financial results.
