Job summary

CYGNET is seeking a detail-oriented Management Accountant to join the Finance Team in Kings Hill, West Malling, working in a hybrid capacity with 2 days per week at the Kings Hill office.

You will support the month/year end reporting processes, prepare dashboard packs with variance analysis, and help maintain financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards and policies. Strong Excel skills and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum AAT qualification.
• Good understanding of key accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Line management for 3 Assistant Management Accountants.
• Preparation of dashboard packs and variance analysis with commentary for management.
• Preparation of site monthly management accounts.
• Maintain, update and reconcile financial records with accuracy and policy compliance.
• Prepare quarterly internal audit packs.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
• Collaborate with payroll and other departments to understand financial results and build working relationships.
