Job summary

Funding Circle in London is seeking an experienced paralegal to support litigation and insolvency matters on a hybrid basis. You’ll draft pre-action protocol correspondence, prepare documents for formal recovery actions, and liaise with external panel firms.

You’ll manage a large caseload, assist with costs recovery, and help coordinate with investors in a fast‑growing fintech environment that values ownership and impact.

Qualifications

• Experienced paralegal with litigation/insolvency exposure.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Able to manage a large caseload and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Drafting pre-action protocol correspondence and ensuring protocol compliance.
• Drafting documents to commence and conclude formal recovery actions for investors.
• Drafting and negotiating security documents and settlement agreements.
• Negotiating in Insolvency and Litigation matters.
• Liaising with external panel firms regarding issues and cases.
• Assisting with administrative duties relating to case management.
