Job summary

Ultralytics in London is seeking an experienced LLM Engineer to lead the development and integration of advanced language model capabilities across our ecosystem. You will work on cutting-edge projects that merge LLMs with computer vision.

Responsibilities include building LLM-powered apps, managing multi-API workflows, and developing RAG systems. You will collaborate with the YOLO team and optimize data pipelines with MongoDB Atlas Vector Search, while aligning with CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with a focus on AI/ML.
• Proficient in Python and PyTorch for model development and deployment.
• Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek).
• Hands-on with full RAG pipelines, vector embeddings, and data indexing (MongoDB).
• Knowledge of LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with MLOps and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Interest in computer vision and YOLO frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale LLM-powered applications via multiple APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini).
• Manage multi-API workflows with LiteLLM for resilience.
• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems with embeddings, rerankers, and query enrichment.
• Design data pipelines and vector storage using MongoDB Atlas Vector Search.
• Fine-tune LLMs on custom datasets for documentation and support tasks.
• Collaborate with YOLO team on multimodal solutions.
• Automate deployment and testing with CI/CD pipelines.
