Job summary

BPM SFX Ltd in Burnley is seeking a Project Manager to lead live events and touring projects from concept to show day. You will coordinate clients, designers, crews and suppliers to deliver safe, budget-conscious productions on time.

The role requires strong organisational skills, budgeting capability, and willingness to travel internationally. Hybrid working in the UK with occasional global travel supports world-class productions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in project management within live events, touring, technical production or entertainment.
• Strong budgeting and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel in the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage live event and touring projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Liaise directly with clients, production managers, tour managers, technical directors, promoters, venues, and suppliers.
• Produce project schedules, budgets, quotations, equipment allocations and crew plans.
• Coordinate logistics for equipment, freight, crew travel and accommodation.
• Interpret technical drawings, CAD plans, venue specifications and rigging information.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure equipment and personnel are allocated effectively.
• Attend production meetings, site visits, rehearsals and live events as required.
• Ensure all projects comply with health & safety legislation and industry best practice.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, risk assessments and method statements; monitor profitability and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and contribute to business development opportunities.
