FQPS Academy Ltd. in Sheffield is seeking Paralegals to join a growing legal team. The role is hybrid with 3-4 days in the office and remoter days.

The ideal candidate will have an LPC or equivalent certification and an interest in litigation, with exposure to complex work and clear pathways for professional development. Responsibilities include handling cases through all stages of litigation, reviewing claims, data entry, liaising with clients, drafting statements, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• LPC preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrated interest in litigation, insurance, claims, or legal compliance.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Handle cases through all stages of litigation per company policies.
• Review incoming claims for completeness and accuracy with documentation.
• Process claims by entering and verifying data against policy details.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to clarify details or gather information.
• Prepare damages breakdown and legal fees.
• Prepare witness statements, statements of case and bundles for hearings.
• Maintain detailed records of claim progress and correspondence.
• Escalate complex matters for further review.
• Liaise with third parties, draft correspondence to customers or external organisations.
