Job summary

hireful is seeking a fundraising officer to inspire supporters and connect their values with lasting legacies. This hybrid role requires 1–2 days per week in the Peterborough office, with a salary circa £32–£34k depending on experience in fundraising.

The charity is open to part or full-time options from 30 hours upwards, offering an opportunity to grow the legacy and in-memory programmes over 3–5 years. You will lead campaigns across digital, social, and print, manage Will-writing partnerships,

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering engaging supporter acquisition and stewardship campaigns.
• Good knowledge of the charity and fundraising space, particularly individual giving, legacy and in-memory giving.
• Fantastic written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with a natural warmth and sensitivity when handling important conversations.
• Highly organised, numerate, and comfortable using supporter databases.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly first point of contact for charity supporters, helping them connect values with a lasting contribution.
• You’ll bring campaigns to life across digital, social, and print channels, manage the free Will-writing partnerships, and help embed legacy giving.
