Job summary

A leading pensions firm in Leeds is seeking a Lead Pensions Administrator for a hybrid role, with 2 days in the office. You will bring strong DB and DC pensions experience and the ability to mentor colleagues while delivering high-quality service to members and employers.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you’ll own tasks, check work, and balance workloads to meet service levels. You’ll also help manage data integrity and respond to complex queries in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Solid experience within pensions administration.
• Strong DB and DC knowledge.
• GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
• Proficient in Word and Excel, including complex spreadsheets.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Checking the work of other team members for accuracy and explaining any changes required, helping to build colleagues' working knowledge.
• Dealing with and checking complex cases.
• Managing and processing scheme events.
• Maintaining administration and benefits data to answer queries from employers, members and third parties, ensuring the quality and reliability of all data.
• Participating in and carrying out data quality audits.
• Working with the administration managers to help plan the work of the team in the absence of the Team Leader.
• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients at all times.
