Network Rail is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to lead complex risk-based audits from planning through to reporting and closure. You will take ownership of audit quality, delivery and timescales while building strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation.

The role focuses on consolidating evidence, analysing large data sets using Excel/Power BI, and presenting clear recommendations to senior leaders. Flexibility in a hybrid working arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in accounting/assurance (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or IIA).
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex risk-based audits from planning to reporting and closure.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand risks and controls.
• Review work of other auditors and provide coaching where needed.
• Ensure audit conclusions align with business objectives and timelines.
