Citi Belfast is seeking a Reference Data Services Lead Analyst to join a global financial institution shaping risk and data strategy. The role blends leadership with complex problem solving in a hybrid work model (up to 2 days at home per week).

You will lead cross‑functional projects, advise on data governance and risk processes, and mentor junior staff while communicating clearly with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in similar role.
• Experience in managing MCA framework.
• Prior experience in Risk, IA, CAPS, Issue management or GAU.
• Strong management skills in operating functions.
• Ability to influence and negotiate with senior leaders.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Team oriented and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Manages complex issues with potential impact across multiple operations areas.
• Lead projects, resolve escalations and offer advanced solutions.
• Liaises with multiple Operations teams/departments.
• Acts as SME in planning and analysis for operations.
• Advise or coach staff on processes across functions.
• Provide in-depth analysis to define problems and improve processes.
• Manage resource allocation for assigned area across teams.
• Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance.
