ADLIB Recruitment | B Corp™ partners with a growing technology business in the UK to hire a Junior Support and QA Developer (TypeScript/Node.js). This role blends customer support, QA/testing and development, offering hands-on exposure from day one and a clear pathway to a software engineering career.
Hybrid working in Bristol, you will learn through mentoring, collaborate with experienced engineers, deliver training sessions, create documentation and help shape the QA process as the products
Qualifications
- Experience building applications with React.
- Experience working directly with customers, users or clients.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Experience in a software support environment would be beneficial.
- QA or software testing experience would be advantageous.
- Experience working with enterprise software would be useful.
- Personal coding projects, portfolios or technical side projects are welcomed.
- An interest in progressing towards a software engineering career.
Responsibilities
- Assist across customer support, QA, and development from day one.
- Help customers resolve technical queries and triage support tickets.
- Deliver customer training sessions and create helpful documentation.
- Produce reports to support clients and internal teams.
- Test new functionality before releases and identify issues.
- Develop automated tests and expand testing coverage.
- Contribute to software development projects, fix bugs and implement features.
