Job summary

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are seeking a Junior Cyber Security Analyst to help safeguard critical processes, including revenue and flight ops, by supporting the IT Security team in delivering a safe, compliant IT environment. You will assist in ensuring IT implementations meet regulatory and vendor requirements.

In this hybrid role, you will contribute to Group Policies, monitor security tools, and support SecOps, vulnerability management and incident response while staying current with cyber

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in IT or cyber security.
• Industry IT qualifications such as CCNA, ITIL or ISO standards desirable.
• Industry security qualifications (CISSP/CISM/CISA) desirable.
• Knowledge of security tools including email gateways and threat intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Develop Group Policies for Security & Standards for software and hardware.
• Oversee IT systems, services and policies to protect data.
• Safeguard customer and colleague data from unauthorised access.
• Provide core capabilities for defensive cyber security operations (SecOps).
• Detect, respond and support resolution of cyber security incidents.
• Respond to colleague and stakeholder requests for security support.
