Job summary

interactive investor is seeking a Mid-Level Java Software Engineer to design, build and support scalable distributed applications across web, mobile and internal platforms. The role focuses on cloud-based deployment and rapid small changes, leveraging OO, DDD and TDD.

You will join the Application Engineering team, working with product and business units to deliver reliable systems. Hybrid role with three days in Manchester and two days remote; prior experience with CI/CD in cloud environments

Qualifications

• Experience delivering changes to business-critical, high-availability platforms.
• Proven CI/CD in cloud environments.
• Strong communication across levels and teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver scalable distributed applications across platforms.
• Ensure architectural decisions align with technology strategy and NFRs.
• Contribute to new patterns and architectural design with the Principal Engineer.
• Support end-to-end development including testing and CI/CD.
• Transfer knowledge and raise risks with clear options.
