Job summary

HelloKindred is seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer (Broker Dealer) for a hybrid role in the UK. You will design, build, test, and deploy scalable enterprise apps with strong backend Java expertise and modern frontend skills, in a cloud-enabled, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Java 8/11/17 with Spring Boot, Kafka, Spring MVC and Spring Security.
• Strong Python experience and REST/microservices knowledge.
• UK broker-dealer sector and capital markets experience required.
• REST APIs, microservices, and messaging systems like Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• Frontend skills with Angular or React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3.
• Relational DBs (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM (Hibernate/JPA).
• Build tools (Maven/Gradle), version control (Git).
• Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• BPSS clearance eligibility and PAYE umbrella arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Java.
• Apply broker-dealer and capital markets experience to business and tech requirements.
• Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices for high-volume systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, architects, and QA to deliver quality solutions.
• Develop responsive UI components and integrate with backend services.
• Participate in architecture reviews and CI/CD and DevOps tasks.
• Ensure security, data protection and compliance in financial systems.
• Create technical documentation for code, APIs, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate resolutions with support teams.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation in a global agile team.
