Job summary

Citi is seeking a Java Developer for the Global Market Access EMEA development team. The role sits within the Equities cash business and focuses on building and maintaining the market access gateway layer to connect to EMEA exchanges for electronic trading.

You will work on translating internal Citi trading messages to exchange formats, participate in new application systems, and collaborate with technology to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Commercial experience in Java and Python, ideally in financial services.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define system enhancements using development procedures and code analysis.
• Consult with users and other technology groups to recommend programming solutions and support customer exposure systems.
• Apply knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
• Analyse applications for vulnerabilities, test, and debug.
