Job summary

Hydrogen UK Ltd, on behalf of a banking client, is seeking an experienced IT Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing across IT Infrastructure contracts. The role combines negotiation, supplier management and governance in a fast-paced environment.

The contract is initially 6 months, offering a day rate of £682 (via umbrella) with 2 days in Bristol or Birmingham and 3 days working from home. You will shape sourcing strategy and analyse spend to build strong partnerships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT Procurement or IT Sourcing, ideally within Infrastructure.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience managing strategic suppliers and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to develop sourcing strategies using data and market insights.
• Knowledge of procurement best practice, governance and risk management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities across IT Infrastructure categories.
• Manage a portfolio of supplier contracts, negotiating commercial terms and service level agreements.
• Develop sourcing strategies that deliver value, manage risk and support business objectives.
• Analyse spend, supplier performance and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver procurement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance and risk management frameworks.
• Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and mentor junior team members.
