Our client in the banking sector is seeking an experienced IT Sourcing Manager on a 6-month contract basis. The role focuses on overseeing IT contracts, SLAs, and procurement processes, with hybrid work arrangements (Leeds/Bristol/Halifax/Edinburgh) and two days per week on-site.

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of IT contracts, lead negotiations, and drive strategic procurement initiatives while collaborating with small clients and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive IT sourcing/procurement experience in banking/financial services.
• Strong negotiation, data analysis, and project management skills.
• Experience managing contracts and senior stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee portfolio of IT contracts and negotiate SLAs.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise major IT contracts and deliverables.
• Report portfolio performance to senior colleagues and ensure accountability.
• Improve procurement procedures to achieve prescribed outcomes and ensure compliance.
• Provide expert advice on designing new processes and systems to uphold standards.
• Manage risks using appropriate risk management frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with small clients to meet their needs while supporting larger relationships.
• Pursue development opportunities and coach direct reports within existing frameworks.
