Job summary

Elevation Tech & Transformation are working with a Sheffield-based business to appoint their next IT Service Operations Manager. This hybrid role combines 3 days in the office with 2 days at home, offering a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 plus bonus.

You will lead IT Service Operations across a UK-wide user base of 3,000+ across 100+ sites, managing a team of 11 and over seeing Service Desk, Major Incident, Asset & Configuration Management, ITSM platform development and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in IT Service Operations or IT Service Management
• Confidence managing and developing a team
• Strong grounding in ITIL disciplines — Incident, Problem, Change, Asset and Configuration Management
• Experience with an ITSM platform
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and contracts
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• ITIL v4 Managing Professional (or equivalent) desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate a Service Desk and Service Operations team
• Own ITIL Service Management across Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Asset and Configuration Management
• Drive Major Incident Management and rapid service restoration
• Champion continual service improvement through automation, self-service and AI-enabled capabilities
• Build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
• Manage supplier contracts and third-party service performance
• Oversee people-management responsibilities
