Job summary

Rebel Recruitment Limited is seeking a Service Desk Engineer in Nottingham. The role starts with full-time office-based work for the first month, then shifts to hybrid work with three days in the office and two days from home.

You will be the first point of contact for IT issues, handling requests over the phone, email and in person. You’ll resolve a range of IT problems, log tickets, and ensure compliance with SLAs while contributing to knowledge base and onboarding activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Service Desk or IT support role.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to log and manage tickets and meet SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for IT issues and requests across the business.
• Help users via phone, email and face-to-face; triage and resolve hardware, software and application issues.
• Log, track and document issues accurately and escalate when required to other IT team members.
• Assist with new hardware/software setups, device onboarding and monitoring automated systems.
