Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex technology programmes across the Retail Technology team, including AI Camera and ESEL initiatives. The role requires ownership from inception to delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget outcomes with clear business value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex technology projects and programmes.
• Strong project management skills, including cost, risk, time and quality.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working independently and taking ownership of delivery.
• Desirable experience delivering retail technology programmes.
• Experience with AI-enabled technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leading end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects and programmes.
• Managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks and dependencies.
• Driving project governance and ensuring delivery remains on track.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Technology and the wider business.
• Providing clear and tailored communications to different audiences, from operational teams through to senior leadership.
• Identifying and mitigating risks and issues before they impact delivery.
• Coordinating multiple workstreams and ensuring successful implementation of change.
• Working closely with business teams to ensure solutions meet operational requirements.
