Job summary

Advance HE is seeking an IT Integration Engineer to design and deliver integrations, APIs and automated workflows across its digital ecosystem. The role focuses on secure, scalable data flows between core platforms such as Dataverse, D365 CRM and Business Central, plus SaaS services.

You will work in a hybrid model with London or York as the nominal office, four days per month onsite, and contribute to automation, identity management, and platform performance using Power Automate, Azure and

Qualifications

• Hands-on API development and system integration experience.
• Experience integrating SaaS platforms and complex business systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-based integration services.
• Experience with identity and access management technologies including Entra ID, SSO, SAML and OAuth.
• Understanding of integration security, authentication and data protection.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• A relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain API integrations between core business platforms and third-party systems.
• Develop reliable REST-based and event-driven integrations with secure data flows.
• Support SSO and identity integrations using Microsoft Entra ID and Entra External ID.
• Lead technical integrations across a diverse ecosystem of SaaS platforms.
• Create automated workflows to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency and user experience.
• Use Power Automate, Azure and other integration technologies to strengthen connectivity.
• Integrate finance and business systems to support reporting and decision-making.
• Establish integration standards, documentation and best practices to ensure security and scalability.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, platform performance and reliability.
