Job summary

Logiq is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer within the Bespoke Secure Solutions team. You will design, build and test infrastructure components, collaborating with architects, engineers and service teams to deliver secure, well-documented solutions.

You will work across hardware, software, network and platform domains, ensuring alignment with security controls and airline-style governance. Travel to client sites and Logiq offices in Bristol, Chippenham or Exeter is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering infrastructure projects not tied to corporate IT or internet-facing systems.
• Strong understanding of security controls and system hardening for secure delivery.
• Ability to deliver infrastructure solutions in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Experience producing clear, structured, and technically accurate design documentation.
• Knowledge of testing approaches and test planning from an infrastructure perspective.

Responsibilities

• Design infrastructure solutions (hardware, software, network, platform) to meet requirements defined by the Lead Solution Architect.
• Build and configure infrastructure components per design standards and security requirements.
• Document the solution with design decisions, rationale and build artifacts to deliver an LLD.
• Coordinate with subsystems to ensure integration across the technical solution.
• Define security control implementation with the Lead Security Architect and Architect team.
• Define and undertake testing to demonstrate fulfilment of requirements (functional, service, security, performance).
• Create low-level design documentation detailing configuration and deployment.
