Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is recruiting an IT Engineer to support and modernise critical IT infrastructure at Springfields Fuels Ltd, ensuring availability, security and compliance across Windows and Linux environments.

The role integrates with Engineering, Operations and Cyber Security, reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, with hybrid working options in the UK. You will manage patches, backups, and IT projects to enhance digital resilience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in infrastructure support in complex or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with NCSC CAF, ISO 27001 and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and maintenance for servers, networks, storage, and end-user systems.
• Administer on-premise and cloud-based systems to ensure availability, performance, and data integrity.
• Manage patching, backups, and security configurations in line with company standards.
• Support Windows and Linux environments, Active Directory, and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security to address vulnerabilities and incidents.
