Job summary

Get Recruited UK Ltd in St Albans is seeking a Quality & Compliance Officer to join the established compliance team. The role focuses on internal audits, ISO 9001/14001, and environmental management systems, with cross-functional collaboration to drive improvements.

If you have a few years' experience in quality or QHSE auditing and enjoy problem solving and working with teams, this hybrid role offers development toward a Compliance Manager position.

Qualifications

Experience in Quality, Compliance or QHSE with ISO auditing.
Practical knowledge of ISO 9001; ISO 14001 desirable.
Experience conducting internal audits and investigating non-conformances.

Responsibilities

Deliver internal audit programme across departments (2–3 audits weekly).
Audit processes against ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
Review processes and documentation ahead of audits; prepare questions with staff.
Complete clause audits against ISO standards.
Identify risks and opportunities for process improvement.
Produce audit findings and close actions within timescales.
Support annual ISO and external audits as required.
Investigate non-conformances and establish root causes.
