Job summary

Altech Group Ltd. is seeking an Internal Auditor / IT Compliance Auditor in Manchester. The role blends internal audit with IT compliance, risk management and governance, risk and compliance responsibilities within a growing fintech/tech environment.

You will plan and coordinate audits, support external assessments and ensure regulatory, security and compliance obligations are met. Hybrid work and exposure to PCI-DSS, Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 are key selling points.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal or external audits in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of information security or compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, Cyber Essentials or ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and conduct internal audits across the business.
• Support external audits and certification assessments.
• Work with PCI-DSS, Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Review internal controls, identify risks and recommend improvements.
• Gather and maintain audit evidence and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address audit findings effectively.
