Job summary

Aon in the United Kingdom is seeking a experienced bid manager to lead end-to-end tenders and client proposals. You will work with broking, claims, risk consulting, and specialist teams to develop solutions that demonstrate Aon's value to clients; this role is hybrid with offices across Scotland and the North of England, including Sheffield.

You will build bid strategies, review content for clarity and compliance, and manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial insurance, risk management, broking, or similar roles.
• Strong stakeholder management with ability to juggle priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end bid, RfP, and presentation projects.
• Develop understanding of clients' risks and insurance needs.
• Collaborate with brokers, risk consultants, and specialists.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape bid messages and proposals.
