WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Associate HVDC Engineer to join their offshore transmission team in Birmingham. This role focuses on providing expert technical advice, coordinating project disciplines, and leading HVDC project development. Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering (CEng or working towards) and a strong understanding of HVDC systems. Competenze

• Professionally qualified in Electrical Engineering (CEng or working towards).
• Demonstrable understanding of HVDC Station Engineering, Control & Protection and System Studies.
• Ability to coordinate across project disciplines and mitigate technical risks.

Mansioni

• Provide expert technical advice for HVDC OEM design reviews.
• Witness HVDC OEM factory testing and commissioning of HVDC projects.
• Develop technical specifications for HVDC converters.
