Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking an experienced HVAC professional to lead the Handover Team for the Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C projects. This hybrid role, based at Aztec West in Bristol, requires regular site visits to Hinkley Point C and occasional international travel to France or Germany.

You will manage HVAC design changes, open points, and engineering queries across suppliers and design teams, driving alignment and timely delivery in a highly regulated nuclear environment.

Qualifications

• HVAC design experience within complex engineering or nuclear projects.
• Experience on nuclear projects in highly regulated environments.
• Managing technical issues, design modifications, non-conformances, or engineering queries between suppliers and design teams.
• Building effective relationships with suppliers, project teams, and technical stakeholders at all levels.
• Adapting communication style to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HVAC Handover Team for HPC and SZC projects.
• Act as focal point for HVAC issue resolution between suppliers and design teams.
• Manage design changes, open points, contractor requests, and engineering queries.
• Coordinate configuration and technical information across project teams to maintain HPC/SZC alignment.
• Develop processes, reporting, and ways of working to support project outcomes.
• Support collaboration between suppliers and back-office design teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
