United Infrastructure Transmission & Distribution seeks an experienced EHV Cable Engineering Manager to lead HV cable design across multiple projects, coordinating electrical, civil and CAD resources to deliver on time and within budget.

This hybrid UK role supports travel, offers a clear path to senior leadership and emphasizes professional development, diverse teams and strong client engagement with a focus on safety and constructability. Preference for Glasgow or Horsham offices.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer or equivalent preferred.
• Substantial HV cable design delivery experience across a mixed team.
• Strong teamworking and organisation with good communication.
• Understanding of health and safety impacts on HV contracts.
• Fluent English speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the engineering process and deliverables across cable projects on schedule.
• Oversee delivery updates, change control and risk management.
• Review and approve deliverables; support design activities to meet deadlines.
• Ensure constructability and safety by design in all outputs.
• Mentor and develop team members.
