Job summary

Engage Leeds is seeking a Hub Support Worker to join the city-wide housing support team. The role processes and triages referrals, offers initial advice, and supports prevention work with a focus on early intervention.

Qualifications

• Experience handling referrals and enquiries with empathy and confidence.
• Ability to perform needs and risk assessments where appropriate.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication skills for engagement with referrers and service users.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the Engage Leeds city wide housing support service.
• Support the Hub as the central point of access for referrals and assessments.
• Process referrals and follow up as delegated by the Senior Hub Co-ordinator.
• Assist people to develop independence and greater choice and control.
• Deliver triage interventions and signposting focusing on prevention and early intervention.
• Undertake needs and risk assessments to ensure safe practice in referral and triage.
• Deliver short-term advice/prevention work on housing issues including welfare benefits.
• Collaborate with Hub colleagues and Head of Service to meet timeframes.
• Liaise with colleagues to ensure high quality, timely support and advice.
• Maintain records in Gateway and hub internal systems.
