Job summary

Veolia Bourne End Office in the UK is hiring an HR Coordinator and Onboarding Specialist on a fixed-term contract. You’ll own the end-to-end onboarding journey, maintain HR records, and support managers and employees across the HR cycle.

You’ll ensure compliance, manage HR data in HRIS, assist with benefits and payroll information, and contribute to employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires CIPD Level 3 and 3 years HR experience.

Qualifications

• Level 3 CIPD qualification required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, onboarding, recruiting coordination, or admin support.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for new employees.
• Prepare and distribute offer letters, onboarding materials and policies.
• Coordinate orientation, training, and first-day activities.
• Ensure equipment, system access and workspace readiness for new hires.
• Maintain onboarding checklists and timely completion of steps.
• Conduct onboarding follow-ups during probation.
• Support HR administration and payroll information accuracy.
• Prepare HR reports and assist with employment verification.
• Contribute to compliance and process improvement initiatives.
