Job summary

Harris Hill is partnering with a well-established hospice and family support organisation to recruit an HR Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This hybrid role involves two days per week at the Bromsgrove office.

You will lead on HR across the organisation, providing trusted advice, managing employee relations, developing policies, and driving wellbeing and EDI projects while ensuring compliance with employment law and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience as a strategic HR generalist in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR compliance and safeguarding frameworks.
• Proven ability to establish and develop an HR function from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice across the organisation and support managers and clinical leads.
• Lead on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management.
• Support workforce planning, recruitment, safer recruitment and succession planning.
• Maintain and develop HR policies to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
• Support learning and development, staff wellbeing and engagement, and produce workforce reports.
• Lead HR projects including EDI, change management and wellbeing initiatives.
