Service Care Legal is partnering with an East London housing association to recruit a Housing Solicitor. The role involves advising and representing the organisation on landlord and tenant matters, with a hands-on caseload and autonomy.

The position is hybrid, with office attendance 2 days per week and reporting to the General Counsel. You will also support junior team members and stay up to date with housing legislation and case law.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified solicitor with at least 2 years' housing law experience.
• Proven ability to manage a busy and varied caseload.
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy law and civil procedure.

Aufgaben

• Handle a full caseload of housing matters including possession and rent arrears.
• Advise on anti-social behaviour, tenancy fraud and leasehold disputes.
• Draft and review tenancy agreements and leases; prepare legal documents for court/tribunals.
